Poor quality tea--a pound would more than fill a shoe box, as it is all mature leaf, with a handful of twigs. White tea typically has a delicate but discernible aroma, and a light but rich taste. This has neither; if anything, the faint aroma smells more like sour grass clippings, and there is no actual flavor--even with more leaves than water. It produces a dull green liquid (which in itself is a sign that this is not true white tea), which has a slight astringency, but almost no flavor. It is not a pleasure to drink, on any level.
Advantages: None that I can find, unless you need things to take up a lot of space on your shelves.
Disadvantages: Sadly, this is a failed experiment... I thought I might find a tea through Golden Needle that I might enjoy occasionally, but this is essentially undrinkable. It will go on the compost heap.
