A type of asparagus, shatavari is an important plant in Ayurveda and has been used for thousands of years. It is one of the most powerful rejuvenating herbs in Ayurveda and is considered a reproductive tonic for both men and women.*

Known as an aphrodisiac and energy tonic it is a perfect addition to a morning drink or smoothie. It is sometimes combined with Ashwagandha holistic extract to enhance the effects.

Shatavari is a highly regarded herb, known in India's Ayurvedic medicine as the "queen of herbs" and usually linked to women's health, promoting love and positive emotions, enhanced fertility, and regulation of the menstrual cycle. It is said to restore hormonal balance in women who have fluctuating hormonal levels due to menstruation and menopause, and to alleviate premenstrual and menopausal symptoms.
