Family owned. Family operated - Griffo Botanicals is a family business located in Petaluma, CA. Surrounded by farms, our family has learned to live locally, to live with the seasons and to grow our food. As we all pitch in, we have learned to apply these principles to the business as well.

Best Quality Herbs - We use only food-grade herbs. No leftovers, no dregs, no dust.  Only whole, wholesome herbs that retain all the taste and aroma they are meant to have. Part of country living is growing your food.  While we grow a lot of our own food, we also love to grow our own herbs.  Zi Su Ye, Elderberry, Huo Xiang, Su Zi, Jin Yin Hua, He Huan Hua, Ling Zhi, Gou Qi Zi, and "the mulberries" Sang Bai Pi, Sang Ye, Sang Zhi, Sang Ji Sheng, Sang Shen are some of the herbs we are growing right now. 

We Pride Ourselves in the Quality of Our Extracts - Developing the process to create these beautiful extracts has taken almost ten years.   We have utilized traditional chinese techniques, borrowed from other industries, and developed modern methods to gently coax the active ingredients out of herbs without losing anything in the extraction process.  The unique method we have created retains all of the active ingredients and essential oils in the natural herbs and puts them into the most concentrated solution available.  But, for us, the wonderful thing about these extracts is not just the number of molecules per milliliter; it is the energy and spirit of the herbs inherent in the solution you take.

And we do it all from beginning to end.  Whether it is writing formulas, planting herbs, measuring alcohol content or welding new equipment, we do all the work.  We love everything from the rawness of working the land, to the unerring precision of extraction, to the shine of the stainless steel equipment in the lab.  Our commitment to the connection between the land, the herbs and your health goes far beyond buying good herbs. Our Bottles - As Acupuncturists, our profession faces many challenges.  Professionalism is one of them.  In my practice I always struggled with the quality of product packaging available.  I also struggled with scribbling dosage and recommendations across their bottle or label.  So when I set out to make my products, I was sure they were going to look professional and accommodate my needs as a provider.

Our bottles are handmade. Look close and you can see the natural waves in the glass.

What's the Dose? As providers, we didn't like scribbling our dosage recommendations across other brands' bottles and labels.  So we made a space to put our recommendations right on our label - clearly and professionally.  

What's it For? We left a space on the back to indicate what it's for.  Write on the colored flag so your patients know why they are taking their prescription.
