Production: Our organic Chlorella powder is produced from chlorella grown within the Ordos Desert, in a mostly rural subdivision of Inner Mongolia, China. It is cultivated with natural sunlight and clean mineralized water in large, enclosed outdoor pools. This chlorella is routinely tested for heavy metals and reviewed by our supplier to ensure that the product meets all organic agriculture specifications. 

Qualities: Chlorella is a freshwater microalgae that was one of the first lifeforms on earth. It is indigestible by humans unless its cell walls are broken.The process used to break cell walls is a gentle milling process that eliminates light and heat to preserve nutrients. We offer broken-cell chlorella for improved absorption and digestion.
Chlorella can provide the body with key nutrients, including a vast array of vitamins, minerals, essential fatty acids, nucleic acids (RNA and DNA), and is a great source of plant based complete protein (about 60%). It is one of the richest sources of the green photosynthetic pigments, chlorophyll-a and chlorophyll-b, and it is known to neutralize toxins, bind metals in the body so they can be eliminated, enhance immune function, and boost cardiovascular health. It is also used for its anti-inflammatory properties and to support healthy liver function.
