• Clears heat, resolves dampness, and reduces jaundice:  this is the principal herb for treating jaundice due to either damp-heat or cold-dampness.*
• Clears heat and facilitates the resolution of dampness:  used for damp sores, wind rashes, and other skin diseases, particularly those affecting the lower parts of the body.  Can be used alone as an external wash.*
