Dosage | Apply to the affected area and fix with a dressing. Change daily. In addition, needle Shang Qiu (Sp 5), Jie Xi (St 41), Qiu Xu (GB 40), Kun Lun (Bl 60), and/or Tai Xi (Ki3) depending on the site of sprain. For best results, keep the affected limb elevated and restrict use. Acupressure at the above points may also be used instead of acupuncture for home treatment by the patient or a family member. | |
