Description

  • Tonifies the Liver and Kidneys, nourishes the blood, and augments the essence:  for patterns of yin or blood deficiency with such signs as dizziness, blurred visioni, premature greying of the hair, weakness in the lower back and knees, soreness in the extremities, nocturnal emissions, and insomnia.   This is a commonly used herb, as it both tonifies and preserves, and is neither cold, drying, nor too cloying.*
  • Expels wind from the skin by nourishing the blood:  for wind rash due to blood deficiency.*

Polygonum (he shou wu) root, Dong Quai root (dang gui), Siberian Polygonatum rhizome (huang jing), Prepared Rehmannia root (shu di huang), Ligusticum (chuan xiong) rhizome, Fragrant Angelica (bai zhi) root, Cardamon Amomum (sha ren) fruit, Clove bud (ding xiang), Citrus peel (chen pi).
