Description | Based on Liu Wei Di Huang Wan, a foundation formula for nourishing Yin, Fu Renyu\'s (1644) prescription has added Lycium berries (Gou Qi Zi) to moisten Liver Yin and Chrysanthemum flower (Ju Hua) to lead the formula to the eyes. Abalone shell (Haliotis Shi Jue Ming) has Tribulus fruit (Bai Ji Li) have also been added to subdue rising Liver Yang.
