Description | This formula is a tonic to the entire circulatory system; it will help increase and strengthen circulation. It is indicated for impaired peripheral circulation, cold hands and feet, Raynaud's disease, peripheral neuropathy, arteriosclerosis and impotence caused by impaired circulation. It is particularly useful for venous varicosities such as hemorrhoids and varicose veins. Aromatic Collinsonia is a superior vascular tonic rich in flavonoids which exert a strengthening effect on weak or hypotonic blood vessels. Ginkgo increases circulation especially to peripheral areas of the body. Hawthorn and lycium fruits are rich sources of flavonoids which strengthen the arteries, veins and capillaries, reducing arteriosclerosis and increasing circulation. Cinnamon is a warming herb used for stimulating micro-stimulation, and Horse Chestnut is a classic remedy in Europe for varicose veins and hemorrhoids. --Winston: Herbal Therapeutics* |
