Description Use for acute or chronic food stagnation. Useful in morning sickness, motion sickness, overeating, and to alleviate hangover. Also useful for infantile disorders due to food stagnation, including colic, poor appetite, abdominal distension and nocturnal cough with abundant expectoration.

Food stagnation produces accumulation of Qi and mucus in the digestive tract, and may be due to either deficiency of Spleen Qi or excess stagnation of Liver Qi with Heat.
