Description

The main herb in this prescription Andrographis is presently undergoing study in AIDS clinical trials and by pharmaceutical companies, based on its reputation as a potent antiviral herb. It is famous not only in classical Chinese medicine, but also in Ayurvedic medicine (chiretta seed), where it is also used for infectious conditions with Heat. Recent studies show that Andrographis is effective in inhibiting staphylococcus, pseudomonas, proteus vulgaris, shigella dysenteriae, staphylococcus, and E-Coli.
